Peek-A-Poo Will Only Eat From Hand

Dog Question: Hello, why will my femal peek-a-poo eat from my hand and not her bowl. I have tried ceramic, stainless, glass, plastic, and even the paper bowl. She will sniff the edge and not eat.

You must have a very cute dog.

I think in a case like this you have trained her to out of your hand when she was young and now that is what she expects.

I think you should just make your dog eat out of a bowl.  If it is hungry it should it.

Your dog might prefer eating out of your hand because it is raised off the floor.  Try to raise the bowl off the floor a little bit and see if this helps.

Maybe your dog doesn't like to put its face down?
