Dog Hydroxyzine Dose

How much hydroxyzine should I give my dog?

Sorry to hear about your dog. 

The dose of hydroxyzine is 1mg/pound so for an 18 pound dog give 18mg.  (round it up to 20mg)

Depending on what size of tablet you have (it comes in several different sizes) you may have to break one up.

Give them every 6 to 8 hours, and continue at least one dose even after the dog has stopped itching.

It also is a mild sedative so it should help relax the dog.
