The calico keeps viciously attacking the tortie tabby
Cat Question: I have a female calico and female tortie tabby
which are both recently spayed. The calico keeps viciously
attacking the tortie tabby who happen to be her litter as well
for no reason. I though spaying them would decease the problem
yet for a while it did now she has started attacking her again.
How do I stop it? I keep them both seperated now cause I dont
want the 2yr. tortie tabby to get hurt by the mother calico who
is 4yr. The mother tail is shakey and she meow loudly cause I
wont get her from being seperated from the other cat.
Hi Tora,
Sorry to hear about your cats.
This is a tough situation to be in. I'll try to offer
a few suggestions.
First of all keep your cat's claws trimmed short so they do
minimum damage or use Soft Claws.
Also provide plenty of spaces around your house where a cat
can hide, like boxes, tubes, etc.
You can't be around all the time, so by providing lots of
spaces to hide your one cat should be able to get away.
