My cat seems to sophicate or choke at least once a day?

Cat Question: Hello. My cat seems to sophicate or choke at least once a day. It lasts for a minute and sort of resembeles cat trying to puke out the furball and breathe heavily through her nose. Her eyes water.
Please help. She is about 7 months old.

Sorry to hear about your cat.

There are several home remedies for cats.  One easy one is to let your cat lick on some butter, or give it some gravy.  You need to add some lubrication to the gut.

The best way to prevent this is to brush the cat once a day.

Most pet stores have hairball solutions as well.  These are just lubricants your cat eats to help pass the hairball.
