Sorry to hear about your dog.

There are several home remedies to try.  You could try feeding your dog canned pumkin (not the mix) this will get things going. 

Another advice is to mix some metamucil with his food. Give small dogs a spoon and a half and big dogs two spoons (small spoon). Avoid. Giving this medicine to dogs that have had colitis or other intestine diseases. They might cause him problems.

If your dog has not gone for a while it is best to see your vet right away though.  If it has only been a few days, try the pumpkin and also keep your dog well hydrated, lots of fresh clean water.
