Chin Pug trim nails to quick

Dog Question: I have a chine pug and his neels need cut one of them is like this C how far back can I go befor the quick .

Hi Tom,

It can be hard to tell if the nails are black.  If they are white you can see a color change where the quick starts.

Always trim off less rather than more.  You can always trim more off later.

If the nail is C shaped then you should be able to trim off alot before reaching the quick.

Remember less is more.
