9 Month Old Bassett Limping

Dog Question: i have a bassett pup she is nine monthsold.how fraigle are they?she jumped off the couch and is now limping on her front paw.she also hurt herself on ice out side and rehurt that too

Normally puppies can heal very quickly.  It just sounds like an old injury is reaggravated.

If she is in pain you could give some aspirin.

If it lasts for more than a few days I would see a vet though.  They could palpate the area and make sure it is nothing more than a soft tissue injury.

The way it sounds though, they may just give you some pain medication for her anyway.
