7 yrs old fixed male cat spraying for the first time

Cat Question: i have a male cat who is about 7 yrs old and he has been fixed since about 3 mths old...i found him today sprayimg for the first time and he has blood in his spray ...what is that all about

Sorry to hear about your cat.

Cats that have blood in the urine need to see the vet, especially male cats.

If your cat has stones or inflammation of the urethra he could become plugged which is deadly for male cats.

Until you can see a vet keep your cat well hydrated with lots of fresh water.  Monitor his urination frequency and check to see if there is still blood in the urine.
