5 year old rottweiller mix, since 2 months ago, he's
regurgitating his food twice a day.
Dog Question: I have a 5 year old rottweiller mix. He's very
healthy and acting happy, active and normal. Since 2 months
ago, he's regurgitating his food twice a day. He seems to be
throwing up more food than he's eating. Appetitie seems normal.
No apparent weight loss. What would cause this sudden behavior?
Should I be concerned. Any ideas on how to stop this from
occuring?
Hi Jamison,
It could be simple gastritis, worms, or something else.
Daily vomiting for two months is definitely a case where you
need to see your vet.
In the mean time make sure he stays well hydrated and
restrict his diet to only dog food. Not treats or human
food. The more bland his diet is the better at this
point.
A simple bland diet should be tried. If he still
vomits then you need to see your vet.
