3 month pit bull ate Hall's cough drop now has diarrhea

Dog Question: I have a 3 month pit bull and she got a hold of a Hall cough drop on Monday, I was able to get it from her.  Then that same day we went to the park and she picked up some gum and i was able to get most of it from her.  That evening she became feeling sick with diarrhea and not eating and drinking.  She finally starting drinking water but yet she still is not eating.  What can I do?

Sorry to hear about your dog.

To to feed her some mushed up dog food, or some canned dog food warmed up.

Warmed food has a better smell to it and it should help to stimulate the appetite.

Dogs normally like chicken broth as well.

If your dog does not start eating soon you need to see a vet.  In the mean time try to keep your dog well hydrated especially since it is a puppy.

Also be aware the parvo can cause decreased appetite and diarrhea.
